La mercanc\u00eda almacenada en este espacio es transportada por vuelos cargueros o comerciales, siendo Estados Unidos y Panam\u00e1 los pa\u00edses que m\u00e1s realizan importaciones con destino a Guatemala. Mensualmente, en el \u00e1rea de importaci\u00f3n se atienden aproximadamente 7,524 documentos de embarques o gu\u00edas de vuelos comerciales y cargueros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El proceso de descarga de mercanc\u00eda se realiza en un \u00e1rea reservada de la bodega de importaci\u00f3n para evitar que est\u00e9 expuesta a la intemperie. Toda la mercader\u00eda que ingresa es evaluada a trav\u00e9s de los distintos procesos de seguridad, con el fin de monitorear el embarque que se recibe y minimizar cualquier riesgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Bodega de importaciones est\u00e1 conformada por distintas \u00e1reas y seg\u00fan el tipo de carga que se recibe, separando su ubicaci\u00f3n en estanter\u00edas o cuartos fr\u00edos, siendo las siguientes categor\u00edas:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

La bodega de importaci\u00f3n de COMBEX-IM cuenta con una extensi\u00f3n de 5,132.43m2.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

  • \u00c1rea para mercader\u00eda de riesgo o peligrosa (para materiales qu\u00edmicos, radioactivos etc.)<\/li>
  • \u00c1rea para mercanc\u00eda de alto valor.<\/li>
  • \u00c1rea para mercanc\u00eda general.<\/li>
  • \u00c1rea para mercanc\u00eda perecedera.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Cuenta tambi\u00e9n con \u00e1rea de reconocimiento f\u00edsico, mercader\u00eda en abandono y restrictos. Los productos con mayor importaci\u00f3n hacia Guatemala son los electr\u00f3nicos, repuestos y medicamentos. Para la \u00f3ptima administraci\u00f3n y movilidad de la carga, la bodega de importaciones cuenta con estanter\u00edas industriales met\u00e1licas tipo Rack y tecnolog\u00eda Handhelds Symbol, utilizado por los operadores para el manejo eficaz de la informaci\u00f3n digital de la carga; que se recibe.
